The Way - The First Christians

The early followers of Jesus were first called Christians at Antioch - that means followers of Christ, followers of the Messiah.

So what were they call before that?

They were called The Way, and the new way because they lived differently. They lived differently because of their encounter with the Lord Jesus. They thought differently. They loved differently. They approach every aspect of their life differently.

Do we? Are we in fact following the Way of the Lord? Or are we separating out our life - the religious part and everything else.

It's time to rediscover that to be a Christian, means to be a follower of the Way of the Lord.

God bless you.
