Representative Ellison's campaign responded to the ads, saying: "Mr. Boisclair's television ads are clearly designed to divide Minnesotans and spread fear.Representative Ellison is a proud advocate for inclusion, dialogue and a woman's right to access comprehensive reproductive health care." In response, Mr. Boisclair said, "The Minneapolis/St. Paul area is reeling from the bold declarations I have made regarding child-killing and Sharia Law. I know I have made some people uncomfortable, but faithfulness to the truth sometimes requires this."
