LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - For those that do not know, Obama has been meeting secretly with an entire host of Islamic radicals in the White House. According to a year-long investigation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), scores of known radicals have paid visits to Obama in the past four years.

The center used court documents and other records to identify these visitors and lists them in detail in their report.

According to the IPT, many of these individuals are serving as front men for known terror organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood - now apparently a legitimate political party according to the Obama administration, and Hamas, and Hezbollah.

Investigators found that these individuals have done any number of things that should bar them access to the president, including

-Been designated by the Department of Justice as unindicted co-conspirators in terrorist trials; Extolled Islamic terrorist groups including Hamas and Hezbollah;
-Obstructed terrorist investigations by instructing their followers not to cooperate with law enforcement;
-Promoted the incendiary conspiratorial allegation that the United States is engaged in a "war against Islam"- a leading tool in recruiting Muslims to carry out acts of terror;
-Repeatedly claimed that many of the Islamic terrorists convicted since 9-11 were framed by the U.S government as part of an anti-Muslim profiling campaign.

Obama also met with members of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) which has also been listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in one of the largest terrorist money-laundering cases in US history.

Why these individuals should be allowed to meet directly with the President is a pressing question and one of national security.

Obama needs to explain why he and his staff chose to meet with:

-Hussam Ayloush - Executive Director of CAIR's Los Angeles office, who has publicly endorsed Palestinian terror attacks on Israel.

-Louay Safi - Former executive director of the Islamic Society of North America, who has been monitored by the FBI and caught via wiretaps speaking to a now-convicted Palestinian terrorist and who serves as the leader of a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood in the US.

-Esam Omeish - Former head of the Muslim American Society and a man who hired Anwar al-Awlaki, the now infamously deceased former terrorist of American birth. Omeish has openly endorsed "jihad" as a way to advance radical Islamic goals.

-Mohamed Elibiary - A man who despite being appointed to the Homeland Security Advisory Council in 2010, (no less!) had previously spoke in honor of Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini and criticized the targeting of al-Awlaki.

And the list goes on.

Obama while publicly condemning terror has actually met with people who openly endorse terrorism and support enemies of the United States and our allies.

It is impossible to tell why Obama thinks this is acceptable, although he may not feel he needs to since he has not technically broken any laws. Still, appearances matter and the message his secret meetings must send to Israel and our allies must be deafening to them.

How can this man claim to be strong on foreign policy while undermining the security of our allies in the Middle East simply requires a mental gymnastic that most rational people are incapable of performing.
